The silent scream

I want to scream,

Scream a bloodcurdling scream

Out into the dark, silent night,

Hear my voice echo in the silence,

See the birds fly from their nest

Disturbed by this screeching sound,

Feel the vibrations travel through the air,

Watch the clouds part for my breath,

A breath so silently vehemnt

That the darkness itself begins to writhe

As if Death himself has procured the night,

To take away the shattering chasm

Caused by that one silent scream.
